FTC ANNOUNCES ENTERTAIN WITH JANE RECIPE CONTEST WINNER (9.2.11)

Representatives from Farmers Telephone Cooperative Inc. (FTC) today announced its “Entertain with Jane” Facebook recipe contest winner, Joseph Manczka of Sumter.

Manczka was chosen by FTC Facebook fans, FTC personnel and Jane Sterling, host of “Entertain with Jane.” As a reward of winning the contest, Manczka will have his winning dish prepared by Sterling and co-star on an upcoming episode of her highly popular FTC Now show. In addition, he also won a copy of Sterling’s cookbook, Simply Southern Style, and a $100 Sears gift card.

Manczka’s winning dish was his signature Red Pepper Chops. The ingredients and preparation instructions for the dish can be found by visiting FTC’s Facebook page at http://www.facebook.com/FarmersTelephone.

“Since the show’s debut nearly a year ago, ‘Entertain with Jane’ has been popular with our FTC Vision customers interested in cooking, party planning and decorating,” said FTC Public Relations Director Chip Chase. “This contest was the perfect opportunity for fans of the show to share their favorite recipes through the power of social media.”
