FTC ANNOUNCES VALENTINE’S DAY FACEBOOK CONTEST (1.30.12)
January 30, 2012, Kingstree, S.C.– Representatives from Farmers Telephone Cooperative Inc. (FTC) today announced the company’s “Valentine’s Day” Facebook contest.
The contest, exclusive to FTC Facebook fans, will award one winner with two HTC Status smartphones with two runners-up receiving Visa gift cards. Facebook fans will have the opportunity to take part by answering Valentine’s Day and FTC trivia questions several times per week, with every correct answer giving that fan an entry into the random prize drawing. Winners will be announced on Feb. 24.
“We are pleased to announce this new contest for our loyal Facebook fans,” said Chip Chase, public relations director for FTC. “The thought behind this contest is to provide fans with the first social media-centric phone, the HTC Status, so they could not only better stay in contact with their significant other, but also everyone on their Facebook friends list.”
