FTC TO HOST TOY DRIVE AND FREE SANTA PORTRAIT OPPORTUNITIES FOR AREA CHILDREN (11.30.09)

November 30, 2009, Kingstree, S.C. – Representatives from Farmers Telephone Cooperative, (FTC) Inc. today announced that the cooperative will be hosting free Santa portrait opportunities for member families at each of the eight FTC locations throughout the Midlands and Pee Dee regions.

 

From December 4 through December 10, parents can bring their children to their local FTC Business Office from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. and receive a free 4 x 6 photo with Santa. Santa will be at the following locations:

 

·         Friday, December 4 - Johnsonville Business Office

·         Friday, December 4 - Shaw - Peach Orchard Business Office

·         Monday, December 7 - Manning Business Office

·         Monday, December 7 - Sumter - Wesmark Business Office

·         Wednesday, December 9 - Kingstree Business Office

·         Wednesday, December 9 - Sumter - North Pike West Business Office

·         Thursday, December 10 - Lake City Business Office

·         Thursday, December 10 - Bishopville Business Office

 

Also during December, FTC will be collecting new, unwrapped toys for Toys For Tots through December 18 at all locations. These donations will then be forwarded to Toys for Tots and distributed to less fortunate children in the area.

 

In addition, FTC is giving away $3,000 in Visa® gift cards during December. In total, FTC will be giving away 20 $50 gift cards, one $500 gift card and one $1,500 gift card to those who participate. Those interested in taking part in this giveaway can sign up to win in any of the eight FTC locations or online at www.ftcholidaygiveback.com. There is no purchase necessary to win. Participants can also increase their chances of winning by signing up for qualified FTC services. For each qualified service obtained, customers will receive 10 bonus entries into the drawing. The gift cards will be given away December 21.
