FTC TO HOST TOY DRIVE TO BENEFIT TOYS FOR TOTS (12.1.11)
Representatives from Farmers Telephone Cooperative (FTC) Inc. today announced that the cooperative will be collecting new, unwrapped toys for Toys For Tots.
Toys For Tots collection bins will be placed in all eight FTC business offices for toy drop-off through December 18. The locations are:
· Kingstree: 1101 East Main St.
· Sumter: 631 North Pike West St.
· Sumter: 1280 Peach Orchard Road
· Sumter: 255 West Wesmark Blvd.
· Bishopville: 104 East Church St.
· Lake City: 235 North Ron McNair Blvd.
· Manning: 2389 Paxville Highway
· Johnsonville: 369 South Georgetown Highway
All donations collected by FTC will be forwarded to Toys For Tots and distributed to less-fortunate children in the area.
“Here at FTC, we are looking forward to the holiday season and hope to spread some of our holiday cheer through our partnership with Toys For Tots,” said Chip Chase, director of public relations for FTC. “We hope that customers and residents of the communities that FTC serves will come out and donate to help our neighbors have a more joyful Christmas season.”
Also, FTC is partnering with Harvest Hope Food Bank to collect canned foods at all of the FTC business offices throughout the month of November for less fortunate residents of the Pee Dee region.
