Spider-Man: Homecoming, July 7
We have another great family friendly movie that we know you and the kids will both enjoy, “Spider-Man: Homecoming.” This PG-13 science fiction/fantasy film gained a whopping 92 percent rating on Rotten Tomatoes. Thrilled by his experience with the Avengers, young Peter Parker returns home to live with his Aunt Mary. Under the watchful eye of mentor Tony Stark, Parker starts to embrace his newfound identity as Spider-Man. He also tries to return to his normal daily routine, distracted by the thoughts of proving himself to be more than just a friendly neighborhood superhero. Peter must put his powers to the test when the evil Vulture emerges to threaten everything that he holds.
Critic Nick De Semlyen from Empire states “The characters and scenarios are familiar, but this is a loose, cool, funny remix that makes them feel fresh again. Plus, it’s mercifully short on life lessons from Aunt Mary.
