Granny’s Chocolate Cobbler

Directions:

Mix 3/4 cup sugar, 3Tbs cocoa, baking powder, salt in bowl and stir with spoon. Add in and continue to stir all purpose flour, whole milk, melted butter, and vanilla flavoring. Spray baking dish and pour mixture into dish. Heat oven to 350 degrees. Then in separate bowl mix 1/2 cup sugar, light brown sugar, 4 Tbs cocoa well and sprinkle mixture on top of cobbler mix distributing evenly. Then pour 1 1/2 cups of hot tap water over mixture but do not stir. Bake for 40 minutes. Serve with vanilla ice cream

  • 1/2 cup light brown sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups of hot tap water over mixture but do not stir
