FTC Mobile Maintenance
Protecting your investment with the optional Wireless Phone Insurance program is a wise choice because purchasing a replacement can certainly be costly and inconvenient. Your enrollment in the program means that if your phone is lost, stolen, or accidentally damaged beyond repair, or requires an out-of-warranty repair, you're covered. A simple toll-free call is all it takes to get your claim process started. Once approved, a replacement is generally received within 24 to 48 hours, taking the hassle out of replacing your phone and saving you time.
KEY PROGRAM TERMS
- $4.99 monthly premium
- Incidents Covered: lost, stolen or has accidental damage, liquid damage, or mechanical or electrical failure after the manufacturer's warranty period has expired
- Maintenance Fee: Each replacement phone is subject to a $50 or $125 non-refundable deductible per approved claim depending on the phone model
- Limits: 2 claims within any consecutive 12 months, with a maximum replacement value of $1500/claim
- Claims may be fulfilled with new or remanufactured replacement equipment and may be a different brand, model or color than the covered equipment. Compatibility with current accessories and services is not guaranteed.
- You may cancel coverage at any time for a pro-rated refund of the monthly premium
NOTE: Please keep a copy of your original purchase receipt and/or proof of purchase for your insured equipment which may be required in order to fulfill your claim. FTC Mobile Maintenance may not be available for all handsets.
